Talcum Powder is of no color, thus it is referred to as the colorless mineral. Also, it has a sheet structure that is similar to that of the micas. While extraction of the talc, the miners remain highly cautious during the whole procedure so as to avoid the mixing of talc with other rock materials. If any contamination occurs in the hard particles of talc, then it can later result in degradation of the softness lubricating property of talc. The partially crushed rocks are then taken into the mills where they are further broken down into dust or powder form.
